Together

We need people to band together 

We need people to band together

Peace and love forever

Too long we have endured such negligence 

By our own presidents and representatives 

The incentives of our representatives are not in our best interest 

We the people for the people by the people

We the people are neglected by the people in the interest of the  people

We as people need to band together

Together we can take back what is ours 

Together we’ll display to them the time we lost hour by hour

Together we shall take back the power 

The power of the people together is the strongest will

The will to stand up for what is true and real

 We as people need to band together

You

An amazing and astonishing voice you have

Beauty in its truest form, what a pain to see you go

Couldn’t count the many reasons why is it you that I  adore

Don’t doubt at any moment that

Ecstasy runs through my veins when you’re in my presence

Feeble heart, yet you are still my essence

Glamorous eyes that stare into my lost soul

How can I not call you my home?

I ponder on every aspect of your pretty personality

Just to return to reality

Kindling the forgotten nights you became an absentee

Lost in thee memory of what could have been

Marveling  over your luxuriously soft skin

Negligent of the memories bound to begin

Oblivious the heart is with this one

Pity for the ones who found their true one love

Quitting has  been like letting go of a dove

Restless nights from thinking about how you were right

S such somber arises at the mindless thought of you

To forever live in the eternal desperation of not having you

Uttering my last love letter while giving you my everlasting hug

 Venomous lust has written the destiny of this love

Who would have known faith was lost as you were

You have yonder over the course of time

List poem

Crispy

My best friend

You are the furriest of them all

with your giddy personality, everyone tends to fall

in love with you and your infectious happiness 

Your cuteness I spotted from a crystal clear glass

I place my shivering hands on the cold glass and said, 

“I want him”

Ever since you’ve been my best friend

It has been a pleasure to grow up with you 

i possess the highest honor of being able to be your caretaker

I’ll always love your obnoxious barking when things don’t go your way

or when you gently bite on my arm to let me know you want to play

or your scruffy hair every time you rub up against me

The scent of your little feet for some reason smells like potato chips

The texture of your fur was once like a suede blanket

now feels like an old soft familiar  jacket

It will be a pain the day you depart from my arms

No alarm ‘cause you’ve given me the best years 

the heart-wrenching anxiety of knowing that day will come

will only fuel the appreciation I hold for you

I shall care for you until your last bark

your last walk

your last play day

your last greeting

Perhaps one day I will be someone’s safe place

Im  left all alone with no mother to hold

No shoulder to lean on

However, I shall morph into a marvel swan

I shall be covered in elegance and beauty

I shall show you why you should choose me

A stanza does not  have the capacity for me to express how much you amaze me 

I can’t  find any phrase that displays what a gaze from you feels like to me 

A gaze from those gorgeous eyes a chorus serenades 

Can’t help but to die inside from witnessing an  elegance so divine 

Knowing people like you are in existence, makes me feel okay with the world
